FVA Spotlight: Tyler Vander Bloemen, Kaukauna Basketball

Each week during the 2014-15 year beginning in late October, the Fox Valley Association will feature two student-athletes (one male and one female) from one of its 10 schools for a "Student-Athlete Spotlight" Q & A segment. The segments will be posted every Tuesday and Thursday and individuals are selected by the school.

Favorite aspect of your school: The students! They support everything that goes on here and that's what we need at KHS!

Favorite aspect about being involved in school activities: The support we get from the community. We get people that don't have kids or family members in a high school sport or activity and they come out and support the Ghosts. I think that is outstanding!!

College or post-high school plans: I plan on going to Fox Valley Technical College to study Law Enforcement.

What is your desired major/career field? Criminal Justice/ Law Enforcement 

What is your favorite class? Social Studies 

Who is your favorite teacher? Mr. Bill Lee

Favorite book: Another Hill to Climb by Bo Ryan

Favorite youth coach: My dad

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? "The quest for excellence is a lifelong process."

Something people would be surprised to know about me is…: Out of all the sports here at KHS, I have attended at least one event!

Favorite athlete to compete against in the FVA: Nick Bauer (Oshkosh North)

Favorite memory from being involved in co-curricular activities is…: Being a part of the program when we went to state in 2012.
