Favorite aspect of your school: Despite being a senior, it still amazes me every day how many opportunities Kimberly has to offer. We have so many AP classes, various clubs, and we excel at most sports. I'm so proud to come from a school that is successful at most things they do. It's made me the person I am today. I also think Kimberly High School has the best pep band in the conference- I'm probably their biggest fan...go band!

Favorite aspect about being involved in school activities: Through being involved in school activities, I've learned about responsibility and compassion for others. They've also given me a positive way to spend my time and I've been able to help others at my school.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which has been most rewarding and why? I am a part of the local United Way Youth Board. Last year, I got to be a leader at Teen Symposium (a leadership conference for high school freshman). It was a really cool learning experience for me. United Way helps me learn about issues in our community that I am able to help make a difference in. It's a really humbling program.

College or post-high school plans: I'm going back and forth between UW-Madison and UW-Eau Claire. I also plan on studying abroad at the University of Winchester in England during my time in college.

What is your desired major/career field? Organizational Communications/ Communicational Arts

What is your favorite class? Choir or Leadership

Who is your favorite teacher? Mr. Jones

Favorite book: The Fault in Our Stars

Favorite youth coach: Cassie Kulibert or Julie Gibbons

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? My coach makes sure we know the importance of trying out best. During our season, I sprained my MCL and I was out on crutches for two and a half weeks. It was very comforting knowing that when I came back she was only going to give me sets I was ready for as long as I put in full effort.

Something people would be surprised to know about me is…: I love writing poetry.

Favorite place to compete on the road in the FVA? Fond du Lac

Favorite athlete to compete against in the FVA: Erin Martin (Appleton East)

Favorite memory from being involved in co-curricular activities is…: Making all of the friends that I have and knowing that I always have someone with similar morals and interests to support me

Favorite professional team: Green Bay Packers

Favorite professional athlete: Donald Driver

Favorite person to follow on Twitter: Zac Efron and Ellen DeGeneres

A non-athletic talent I have is…: Anyone who knows me knows I love to sing
