Favorite aspect of your school: My favorite aspect of my school is having access to many great opportunities every day. My school provides us with an amazing facilities, many clubs and classes to choose from, and different activities we can participate in to grow closer as a school community.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which has been most rewarding and why? My favorite community service event I have participated in was being a camp counselor at SOAR's Camp Onaway. I was able to spend time with people who have special needs, learn and grow with them, and have a blast while also volunteering! It was an incredible experience and I really enjoyed meeting so many new people and growing in my relationships with others.

What is your favorite class? Spanish

Who is your favorite teacher? Mrs. Stainton

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? To trust in my training and always keep a positive mentality...mindset makes the difference!

Favorite youth coach: Kelly Kinas

Favorite place to play on the road in the FVA? Either Countryside Golf Course (my home cross country course) or Winagamie Golf Course

Favorite athlete to compete against in the FVA: Anika Nettekoven (Appleton North)

Favorite memory from being involved in co-curricular activities is…: I would definitely say running in extreme weather with my teammates, whether that be a rainstorm or a blizzard. I remember during track we ran in a snowstorm and, once we got back to school, we stood in the bathroom with steaming hot water running over our freezing cold hands. Although it was painful in the moment, it is a funny memory to look back on and crazy to think we ran in that weather!

Favorite professional team: Bowerman Track Club

Favorite professional athlete: Shalane Flanagan

College or post-high school plans: Still in progress! I do know for sure that I would like to run at the collegiate level in college, along with study abroad in Europe, but I am still thinking about where I will attend college and what major I will study.

What is your desired major/career field? I would like to study nutrition or a health related major so I can go into the medical field later on in life to become a Pediatrician. I would also like to possibly specialize in pediatric Interventional Radiology, Adolescent Health, or Anesthesiology.

Something people would be surprised to know about me is…: that I love doing aerial Lyra and yoga for cross training.

What is at the top of your “bucket list?” Traveling to Scotland to see the castles, villages, and sights there.

What is your dream job? Becoming a professional runner or triathlete.
