Favorite aspect of your school: I love the competitiveness at Kimberly High School. Every day I feel motivated to be the best that I can be not only at practice, but also in the classroom. A lot of students at KHS strive to be great every single day.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which has been most rewarding and why? It is a requirement through National Honor Society to participate in a service project each school year. Last year I volunteered at Pillars Homeless Shelter every other Wednesday with one of my close friends. This experience was incredibly rewarding as it taught me to be grateful for all of the little things in my life. Whether it be dinner on the table at night or clothes to put on in the morning, many people in the Fox Valley are not provided with these little things that most people take for granted.

What is your favorite class? Oil Painting

Who is your favorite teacher? Heather Schaefer

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? Coach Carper, my distance coach, has always said "last one is for fun" before doing the last rep of a workout. While this may seem insignificant to most people, this little saying has always helped motivate me. It can be difficult to finish hard workouts, especially when you get into tournament season. However, it is always important to allow yourself to have fun doing what you love even on your hard days. The last rep really can be your best one if you have a positive attitude about it.

Favorite youth coach: Donald Carper
