Friday night's Fox Valley Classic Conference football championship game between Kimberly and Fond du Lac will be played at Pickett Field at Appleton East High School. The game will kick off at 7 p.m.
Both teams enter Friday's game with 6-0 records. Fond du Lac won Group A and advanced with a 42-7 win over Appleton North last week. Kimberly won Group B and defeated Neenah 35-14 last week to reach the title game.
Fond du Lac earned the right to host the game by virtue of playing only three home games, compared to four for Kimberly. However, Fruth Field in Fond du Lac is unable to host the game. It had been previously announced that Kimberly would host Friday's game until the neutral site at Appleton East was secured. All three of Fond du Lac's previous home games were played at Kiel High School.
