Fox Valley Association

The Fox Valley Association hosts an annual sportsmanship summit with athletes, coaches and administrators from conference schools. 

The purpose of the summit is to bring together the leaders of student sections from every school to provide a consistent message of sportsmanship regarding expectations at athletic events, such as appropriate cheers and behaviors. The students brainstorm ways to bring more student attendance to the events and potential activities to create more excitement at the games. Students also participate in leadership skills building.

Each school brings a group students to the event, which is facilitated by the conference’s athletic directors and coaches. Students pend time in groups among students from their own schools and also breakout into groups with students from other schools.
