Favorite aspect of your school: The teachers and staff, and just the environment in general. It's always nice to walk down the halls and know that you're going to see someone you know who's going to take the time to say hi and ask how you're doing. You're not just a number at North.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which has been most rewarding and why? I used to play violin at nursing homes with my sister during Christmas. That was really a lot of fun because you could just tell that it meant a lot to all the people who were there.

What is your favorite class? Speech

Who is your favorite teacher? Too hard to pick! I have incredible teachers this year, but I guess I should probably say my anatomy teacher since my dad teaches the class...

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? Never forget why you're here and why you do what you do in the first place: Because you love it.

Favorite youth coach: Kelly Tyriver (8th grade basketball)

Favorite place to play on the road in the FVA? Kimberly

Favorite athlete to compete against in the FVA: Callie Pohlman (Appleton North)

Favorite memory from being involved in co-curricular activities is…: We had a really hard workout after practice and we had to do a 3 minute wall sit after already sprinting a bunch of laps on the track and doing all this other exhausting stuff. So we're all against the wall just dying because our legs are burning so bad, and all the sudden Nya goes, "maybe if we start singing really loud, the time will pass quicker." So, we all started screaming "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus at the top of our lungs. It was hilarious, but also really cool because we were able to get through the tough spot together as a team while still having fun.

Favorite professional team: Minnesota Lynx
