Kimberly Captures Second Straight Boys Track and Field State Title

Kimberly amassed the fourth-highest point total in the history of the Division 1 boys state track and field meet in capturing its second consecutive state championship. The Papermakers totaled 74 points to easily outscore Oak Creek, which had 45 points. Kimberly's total was the highest since Madison LaFollette had 81.5 points in 2002. Milwaukee South had the two highest point totals all-time in 1986 and 1987.

D.J. Stewart won the 300-meter hurdles and the 3200-meter relay team of Will Demerath, Rowen Ellenberg, Alex Jansen and Jack Fitzgerald was also victorious. The title was Kimberly's fourth boys track and field title, having also won in 1960, 2014 and 2017. It was the school's 29th state title in all sports with 15 of those coming since 2007.
