Favorite aspect of your school: My cross country team is what makes East feel like a second home to me. I love the bond we have with each other and the friendly, supportive attitude we share - even off-season.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which has been most rewarding and why? I have taken four one-week mission trips through my church, and the trip to Detroit this summer was the most rewarding. Detroit is seen as one of the worst cities in America, but working there and getting to take part in some of the many projects to improve the city helped me realize that it's still an area where people have hope; it shouldn't be written off.

What is your favorite class? AP Biology

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? Trust yourself

Favorite place to play on the road in the FVA? Cross Country Conference meet

Favorite memory from being involved in co-curricular activities is…: Jumping in the Fox River during summer practice

College or post-high school plans: I plan to attend either Luther College or St. Norbert College

What is your desired major/career field? Biology, with an environmental focus

Something people would be surprised to know about me is…: I love skiing, but I don't talk about it much
