Favorite aspect of your school: My favorite aspect of Appleton West is how every teacher tries to create a relationship with every student. They truly do care about you and it really shows and they go out of their way to prove that. Another aspect I really enjoy is the diversity in our school. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and I think that is really beneficial for us students because we understand that everyone comes from different backgrounds and not everyone is the same nor does everyone do everything the same way. It is definitely not like this at a lot of other schools.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which has been most rewarding and why? It is not a community service project however, the most rewarding thing that I have been involved in my community, is having the opportunity to do an internship through my high school in a kindergarten class at an elementary school. In my classroom, I have a strong relationship with every single one of my kids. It is a reward for me because I am working with some kids who have gone through more things in their 5 years of life than I have in my 17 years. It is really eye opening and it makes my heart happy knowing I can make a difference in some of these kids lives each and everyday and be their safe spots. It also has shown me that everyone needs different things to be successful and not everyone learns the same. Being with these kids everyday has really made me look at life from a different perspective.

What is your favorite class? Psychology with Mr. Klingberg

Who is your favorite teacher? Mr. Stepanski

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? The best advice I was given by one of my coaches, was that "life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react/respond". This has not only helped me on the basketball court but in my personal life as well. You can only control what you can control.

Favorite place to play on the road in the FVA? Appleton East and Kimberly High School.

Favorite athlete to compete against in the FVA: My favorite athlete to compete against in the FVA has to be Kenzie Drout (Kimberly High School). I play AAU with Kenzie and she is one of my close friends so it is always fun to play with her, as well as against her.
