Parents’ names: Jodi and Paul

Siblings’ names: Payton

Favorite aspect of your school: I love how accepting our school is of people's differences. We have great teachers that are always willing to help and are flexible working with athletes' schedules. I also love how many classes are offered; there's always something for everyone.

Favorite aspect about being involved in school activities: Being involved in school activities has helped me meet a lot of amazing people. It also is great to be able to feel a part of something that affects your community in a positive way.

If you have been involved in community service projects, which has been most rewarding and why? The most rewarding community service project I have been a part of would have to be Kellers Lake Camp. It is a week long day camp working with people with mental/physical disabilities from all ages.  You get to spend time with them by going on walks, fishing, rowing a boat, arts and crafts etc.  I look forward to going and being able to put a smile on people's faces. It makes you appreciate and realize how lucky you have it.

College or post-high school plans: I am verbally committed to Upper Iowa University where I will further my education while also playing Division 2 softball.  #FeathersUp

What is your desired major/career field? I enjoy working with people with mental/physical disabilities so I am looking to major in Art Therapy or Special Education.

What is your favorite class? Art

Who is your favorite teacher? Mrs. Schmidt

Favorite book: My favorite books are Toliets, Fishhooks, and PRIDE; So What, Next Pitch; and The Daily Dominator all by Brian Cain.

Favorite youth coach: Laura and Scott Beyer

What is the best advice one of your coaches has given you? I have had a lot of great coaches, but the one that has stuck with me the most would have to be from my mother.  When I was younger I was a right handed batter, and a struggling one at that! So during practice one day she yells, "Just get on the other side!" I have been batting from the left side ever since!

Something people would be surprised to know about me is…: People would be surprised to know that I have two miniature horses.  When I am not playing softball I love spending time with my horses by driving them in a cart. I also love to hunt on my grandparents' farm.

Favorite place to play on the road in the FVA? I love playing at all FVA fields.  Any day on the diamond, is a good day!

Favorite athlete to compete against in the FVA: Although we haven’t faced all FVA teams yet, I would have to say Haley Hestekin from Kaukauna. If you want to be the best you have play the best.

Favorite memory from being involved in co-curricular activities is…: My favorite memory was being able to represent our school and community in the state softball tournament last year.

Favorite professional team: Professional Softball Team: USSSA Pride

Favorite professional athlete: Professional Softball Players: Raven Chavanne, Caitlin Lowe, and Kelley Montalvo

Favorite person to follow on Twitter: Kent Murphy

A non-athletic talent I have is…: Drawing and Painting
